Nick Golterman (1992) is an actor, writer and director. During High School, he would make short films which won both jury and audience awards at the National Film Festival for Students (The NFFS). His short film "Day 42" also won the award for Best Short Film at the International film festival Camera Zizanio, in Greece. After high school, Nick started studying acting and graduated from
faaam
(the Film Actors Academy in Amsterdam) in 2015.
In 2013 Nick played a lead character in the TV-series "Max & Billy's: The Drill Machine Girl" directed by Ivan Lopez Nunez. The series was nominated for a digital Emmy Award.
In more recent years, Nick would go on to play roles in "Weg van Jou" directed by Jelle de jonge, "Ron Goossens: Low Budget Stuntman" directed by Steffen Haars and Flip van der Kuil and "The Birdwatcher" directed by Threes Anna. He also played various roles in the comedy series "Komt een Man bij de Dokter" and "De Pudding Club"
Nick also played the leading rol in the bio-pic "De Overkant" (or "Across"), directed by Marnix Ruben. Nick plays the role of the young Freek de Jonge (a praised comedian and artist in The Netherlands). The Film premiered at the International Film Festival "Film by The Sea" in Vlissingen, The Netherlands.
In 2017, Nick was nominated for the "Zilveren Notenkraker" award for his role in the comedy series "All in Kitchen"
Nick played on of the leading roles in "De Film van Dylan Haegens", one of the most succesful feature films of 2018. In 2020 Nick will star in feature film "De Vogelwachter". He'll also play a leading role in the hit christmas-series "Kerstgzel.nl" and "Mijn Kleine Grote Broer" (2021).
